Free pattern

Some of you may remember this hat that I knit for a friend's baby recently.

Cshat

I wrote up a pattern and even had it test knit (Thank you A-M!!).  Now this hat is a blatant rip-off of a Debbie Bliss pattern.  I personally think Debbie Bliss' hat patterns suck.  They are knit flat, which is just the most ridiculous thing.  I tried a seed stitch hat of hers once and I don't know what she did, but the seed stitches would not line up.  And, I bet my decreases are way better than her decreases.

My pattern is knit in the round, all the seed stitch match up, and my decreases are fabulous. The pattern takes 1 ball of Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, a set of 5 U.S. size 3/3.25mm DPNs (or your preferred knitting in the round needles) and is sized to fit, in my estimate a 3-9 month old.  If the baby you are knitting for has a particularly large head, it may not fit, but I do explain how it is easily made larger.

And if anyone knits one, let me know how you like the pattern and how it fits.  I'd love any sort of feedback.  Or pictures of cute babies in the hat.
